In partnership with ASYV, the In[HEIR]itance Project will embark on its first international project, that explore ways collective creativity has the power to build relationships and community.  

Artists are devising a new play with communities throughout the Bluff City exploring the city’s history, the experiences of the people who live there, and its unique relationship to themes and ideas of Exodus.

Using the unique history of Coastal Virginia, and ‘Exodus’ as our inherited text, we are activating a dialogue on racial dynamics, redlining, and displacement to create a play for the Virginia Arts Festival.
